The Sharpe’s Longclaw Expedition (February 17, 2018)
…photos of local flowers and butterflies as well. Soon, we arrived back to camp- everyone was hungry and we took our picnics for lunch. We then we went around the camp but we did not see more new bird, so we decided to have another short walk outside the compound where we saw more Yellow-whiskered Greenbuls. As we came to an open area, we were welcomed by two Augur Buzzards and also a party of Hunter’s Cisticolas- which is our company symbol and logo bird species…

Gatamaiyu Forest and Manguo Swamp Day Birding Tour, Kenya (December 16, 2017)

Nairobi City Ultimate Experience Tour (December 12, 2017)
…while also watching Nile Hippos in the water and some Cape Buffalos nearby. Then we continued to the savannah grassland where we were lucky to see two Silver-backed Jackals, several Kongoni, Bohor Reedbucks and Common Impalas; as we proceeded to Hyena Dam. Here we also enjoyed water birds and also had a nice Nile Crocodile on the edges of the dam. We proceeded back to the open savannah as we got deeper in the park where we came across a group of Common Ostriches…

Nairobi National Park Day Trip (September 2, 2017)
…we came upon our second sighting of vultures on a carcass (mentioned earlier). A Black-chested Snake Eagle slowly glided northward, high above the vultures. We soon added White-bellied Bustard to our ever-growing bird list. At Mokoyeti there was not much bird activity, except a Hamerkop feeding in the Mbagathi River below. We pressed on towards Hippo Pools, but just as we rounded the bend around The Emakoko we were in for yet another extremely pleasant surprise: a big male Leopard…
