ITEMS TO BRING ALONG

  1. Personal medicine, insect repellent and sunscreen
  2. Personal attire and personal effects
  3. Comfortable walking shoes
  4. A jersey/jacket or sweater for the cold days
  5. A raincoat (with hood) or a rain suit
  6. Sun hat
  7. Spotlight/torch with spare batteries and bulb
  8. Pocket knife
  9. A pair of binoculars
  10. A field notebook and pens
  11. A camera (optional)
  12. Field guide books on East Africa – mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, ecosystems etc. (optional) – guide books will be provided at camp throughout the training
