UMUSAMBI VILLAGE AND NYANDUNGU WETLAND BIRDING DAY TOUR
Our Umusambi Village and Nyandungu Wetland Birding Day Tour will visit this beautiful region near the city of Kigali, Rwanda’s capital city.
At Umusambi, we shall be able to bird well on foot as we explore this beautiful landscape. We shall bird different habitats seeking the local bird species. The main habitats here include farmland, grassland and woodlands. On our way to Umusambi Village, we shall be able to also explore some roadside spots where we shall be hoping to expand our species list.
From Umusambi, our tour will then explore the Nyandungu Urban Wetland Ecotourism Park. This is a 120 hectare park, which is located between Gasabo and Kicukiro Districts. It is a great natural space that allows birding on foot.
We shall then head back home or to the hotel; marking the end to our great Umusambi Village and Nyandungu Wetland Birding Day Tour.
