World class! (Kenya birding tour)

Together with Anders Isaksson, I visited Kenya for 10 days to study larks in the latter half of May 2019. The trip was organised by Cisticola Tours, and we we had the great pleasure of having the company of Cisticola’s Director and expert birder/naturalist Washington Wachira, expert tour guide (and expert driver) Jack Kiiru and legendary Kenyan bird/nature expert Brian Finch. The arrangements were exceptionally good, and the team did everything they could to make sure the trip was a great success. The team also proved to be extremely knowledgeable about virtually everything in nature: mammals, reptiles, insects, plants, etc. Moreover, they obviously shared a deep passion and concern for Kenya and its fragile ecosystems. Thanks to Cisticola Tours and our three Kenyan guides, we had an absolutely amazing trip! I cannot recommend Cisticola Tours highly enough!
