Highlights of Kenya (May 2025)

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Kenya. Much booking was done by our agent, but the birding/sightseeing bookings were made through Cisticola Tours. Manager, Washington, was very helpful, and a ten day tour was agreed upon. Sightseeing included the Blixen Museum, the Kenyata Centre (great views), and the Natural History Museum. Birding sites included Nairobi N.P, Hell’s Gate N.P, Lakes Naivasha and Nakuru, finally four days in the Masai Mara.
Our Guide/driver, Winstone, looked after us really well. Not only was he a good bird guide but also went out of his way to ensure that we were happy with the way the tour was progressing.
